FAQ
General Terms & Conditions

Return Privilege for Non-Bullion items: For non-bullion purchases, an item may be returned within 15 upon receipt of merchandise by the customer, unless otherwise stated. Merchandise must be returned in its original unopened container and must be sent via Registered Insured US Mail. Refund price is the original price of the item less 3% surcharge and shipping & handling costs. Customer assumes the risk and expense of return shipments, including insurance. Any returns received past 15 days by The Courtier's Coins, LLC will be considered as a purchase and may be subject to a restocking fee.

Return Privilege for Bullion items: Due to the volatility of the precious metals market, bullion-related sales are final upon confirmation of trade. Therefore, upon placing an order for bullion items and after acceptance of the order by The Courtier's Coin, LLC, the customer is then obligated and committed to making payment and accepting delivery.

Value is directly related to the subjective area of coin grading, therefore, opinions may differ. Coins graded and encapsulated by independent third-party grading services such as NGC and PCGS (referred to as "slabbed" or "certified" coins) have their own guarantee policies regarding the grade and authenticity of the coins they encapsulate. Raw (noncertified) coins that we offer are guaranteed and are graded based on years of experience in the numismatic field.

All coins are subject to market fluctuation prior to sale. We are not responsible for typographical errors and reserve the right to refuse, void, or cancel a sale at our discretion, including if an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or product information. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

All merchandise offered by The Courtier's Coins, LLC is guaranteed to be genuine as described.

Title (Ownership) of merchandise does not pass to the customer until merchandise is paid in full.

The coin market is volatile, and prices fluctuate widely, therefore prior performance cannot be used to predict future values of coins. In making any decision to buy coins, you should view such a purchasing decision strictly as a collector of coins and not as a buyer of commodities. Remember, all investments involve risks -- coins and bullion are no exception, and investment advice should be obtained from your own financial expert.

AML Policy Disclosure: Section 352 of the USA Patriot Act requires that all "financial institutions" create and implement an anti-money laundering (AML) program. Subsequent modifications of the original Bank Secrecy Act of 1970 -- which defines what and who is classified as a "financial institution" -- include "dealers in precious metals, stones, or jewels." As a "dealer in precious metals, stones, or jewels," which by definition of the law includes items of numismatic interest, The Courtier's Coins, LLC adheres to the formal anti-money laundering requirements of the USA Patriot Act, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Treasury Department, the Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCen) and other appropriate U.S. Government Agencies. The customer represents and warrants that the customer has in place a written anti-money laundering program, or is exempt from this requirement, according to the USA Patriot Act.

The Courtier's Coins, LLC makes every effort to keep our prices and information accurate. However, from the time mistakes can occur it should be understood by the customer that The Courtier's Coins, LLC is not responsible for sudden price changes, typographical errors, out of stock items, shipping delays, website issues, or lost or stolen packages.
